Saturday was supposed to be filled with bills, laundry, and dishes......but then we got a call from Jeremy's brother to invite us to the ZOO!

So we decided to shirk our chores and go enjoy the gorgeous outdoors(finally!).

Of course we got there after lunch time and ALL the animals were taking an afternoon nap so the kids were not very impressed. But that's okay because we got season passes which means we get to try again and again to see the animals at their best.

Amelia got to bring a friend from her primary class. He is such a cute little kid and it was fun to have him with us.

We look forward to going again!
