Lily Jill!

Late Saturday night we received a txt with a picture and an announcement of the arrival of my newest little Niece Lily Jill. Congratulations Katelyn and Brian on making such a cute little girl!

Anna's baby shower

I got to host Anna's baby shower last weekend. It was really nice to visit with the ladies without the chaos of little ones running around in our echo house. It was also nice because it forced me to thoroughly clean my house. It is so rare to have a clean house in fact that I took pictures.We asked Anna to bring and show off the adorable quilt that she made for her little boy's room.She is quite the talented quilter.

Cute airplane cake that Amber had made for the shower. Anna got to take the airplane topper home. Yummy!

We had lots of fun things to dip in Kary's chocolate fountain.
We had Tiffin's Texas Caviar recipe and tortilla chips and Zoila, bless her heart, made yummy chicken salad croissant sandwiches and didn't even get to stay for the shower.

Thank you to everyone that helped to bring this together to celebrate the arrival of Anna's new little man! Congratulations Anna, we can't wait to meet him!

Kids say the darndest things

So the other day we were driving to the church and a pigeon decided to commit suicide on our windshield.


Mia: "What just happened?"

Mom: " A bird just flew into our windshield"

Andie: "Is it going to die?"

Mom: "Probably"

Mia: "But I don't want the birdie to die. Will it go to heaven?"

Gavin: "Yah, don't worry it will be resurrected by the bird Jesus."
