Masterpiece

We thought that this recent drawing of Andie's was blog worthy. She started drawing still lifes but with an abstract flare. Grandma was very impressed and so was I. Andie said that she drew it for Grandma.....but guess who ended up coming home with it. Well, come on, Andie's original masterpieces are in high demand! Put an order in right away before the waiting list gets too long!

I suppose I could email Grandma a copy.

Our Utah House

Harvard Park House
These are pictures of our new house in Utah. The pictures don't do the house justice but look through the album and captions if you wish. About 6 houses down the road is our new church building and a little past that is a little tree lined country road where we can visit the horses and feed them apples and carrots. This road also leads to a nice little running creek and a farmers market. The summers are going to be soooooo nice!

Salt Lake City trip

So this is old news but we took a trip up to Salt Lake to visit Allison and Nathan real quick before school started.
The morning after we got there we celebrated Andie's birthday.

Then we took off to see the new conference center. Jeremy and I had never been there.

That night we envited Jeremy's brother and his wife and little boy, Jeremy's aunt and Grandpa(Honey), & Allison and Nathan and their kids to American Fork Canyon to celebrate Andie and Honey's Birthdays.

After church on Sunday

Visiting Emily and Troy Sunday afternoon.

We climbed up a steep hill to get some pretty pictures in the flowers.

Then Allison and I snuck up on a moose to get some better pictures.

We were having so much fun that Jeremy called his boss and asked to stay another day. We are so glad that we did.
Cool hotel that I had to get a picture of.

FROSTYS

Last night we raised our frosty cups to celebrate Jeremy accepting a job in UTAH! We have been talking about it here and there for a few years but after our last trip up there we became more serious about it.
We kept talking about living in Utah and finally decided to send Jeremy's resume out to see what happened. In this economy we really didn't count on anything to come of it. The morning after he sent his resume out he got a response. A few days later he had a phone interview and the day after that, another phone interview and last friday they flew him up there for a face to face interview. Tuesday we accepted the offer! Things have moved super fast and there is so much to do. I am flying up to Utah next Wednesday to look at houses and Jeremy is starting work up there no later than October 22nd.
We were waiting and waiting on a shortsale in Goodyear that we put an offer on clear back in the middle of April. Since nothing was happening with that we decided to try for Utah and it seems pretty clear to us that moving to Utah was meant to be.
We are going to miss Arizona mostly because of the people that we will be leaving, but we are so excited to begin this new adventure as a family.
